Morey’s Piers has planned a complete cuisine overhaul for the 2014 summer season and the Wildwoods are already buzzing. Funnel cake, Curley’s fries, and even fried oreos never go out of style, but Morey’s is adding some much needed diversity to the lineup.
The makers of Cape May’s Big Wave Burrito will debut the ALOHA Smoothie Company on Adventure Pier this summer season and will be specializing in healthy choices such as acai bowls and smoothies. Victory for all health-conscious and/or fruit-loving boardwalk patrons! ALOHA will set up in a storage container setting, giving it some extra edge.
ALOHA isn’t the only newbie eatery making its way to Morey’s, however. Jake’s Steaks will be joining the Surfside Pier family offering authentic Philly cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteaks, and sausage sandwiches. Best of all, Jake’s will set up shop right next door to Curley’s Fries. Walk a few feet and grab the perfect potato side to your steak.
Rounding out the new exciting roster will be Tony Luke’s of Philly fame joining ALOHA in an Adventure Pier storage container setting and the Taco Joint of Mariner’s Landing. Tony Luke’s plans to showcase the best of the best from their classic menu while the Taco Joint will be bringing some much needed SoCal flavor to the boards. The Taco Joint will open right behind Jumbo’s and will feature shrimp, fish, pork, chicken and beef tacos & quesadillas including a variety of fresh salsas and freshly prepared nachos. For the perfect Mexican finish, opt for a Taco Joint Margarita! Arriba!
