Middle Township Announces Independence Day Festivities

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Middle Township’s Independence Day celebration will take place on Monday, July 4 at the Clarence and Georgiana Davies Sports Complex, located at 626 Goshen Road.

Weather permitting, festivities will begin at 4 p.m. with vendors, crafts and activities including a Tug of War, Pie Eating Contest, Potato Sack Race and Balloon Toss. BBQ chicken and other treats will be available for purchase at the snack stand, and live music will be provided by Loud ‘n’ Klear. Fireworks begin at dusk.

“We invite all residents and guests to gather at Goshen Sports Complex and celebrate our independence,” said Mayor Michael Clark. “There will be plenty of family-friendly fun and a spectacular fireworks show to cap off the night. The township extends special thanks to our very generous sponsors from the business community who helped make this event possible. Hope to see you there!”
