Lower Township Recreation Plans Festive Holiday Events

Ferry Merry Christmas sails into Lower Township! Lower Township Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual “Ferry Merry Christmas” party from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20 at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal in North Cape May. The party includes winter carnival games, art and crafts, balloon art and a chance for children to meet Santa Claus and present their requests for presents. A free, kid-friendly hot chocolate bar will be available to participants.

“We hope to see a lot of families come out and enjoy themselves and the Christmas season,” said Superintendent of the Department of Parks and Recreation Mitchell Plenn.

Make sure to mark your calendar for Dec. 31 and celebrate the old year and ring in the new with friends and family at the Lower Township Department of Parks and Recreation’s New Year’s Eve Party. All ages are invited to the Lower Township Recreation Center, located at 2600 Bayshore Rd. behind Lower Township Hall, on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 during the family friendly hours of 6 to 9 p.m.

Lower Township’s New Year’s Eve festivities will include music, face painting, indoor inflatable rides and carnival games. Make sure you grab a good seat for the magic show. Food and refreshments will also be available. Don’t forget to commemorate the night by getting you group together and snapping a picture in the photo booth.

Please remember, children 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
