The Annual Cape May County Earth Day Fair is more than just a day in the park. The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders has planned a long list of eco-friendly events for the celebration to be held at the Cape May County Park and Zoo.
Set for Saturday, April 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the day will start off with a bang with a 5K Earth Day Race and 1 Mile Fun Run. Certificates will be awarded for the top three finishers in each age group in both male and female divisions. T-shirts will also be handed out to the first 150 participants. The pre-registration donation of $20, or $25 the day of the race, will benefit the Cape May County Park and Zoo Trust Fund.
In addition to the race, live music, children’s storytime, inflatable obstacle course & slide, an interactive drum circle, hands-on educational exhibits, free entertainment, naturalist hayride, food and crafts are all on the agenda.
We need your help! The Cape May County Park and Zoo is the perfect location for this day of fun and learning. Hands on educational exhibits, children’s amusements, live entertainment, a variety of environmental eco-shops and lectures – all of which will guarantee a day of earth friendly fun. Sponsor donations are necessary to defray the costs associated with this event. Donating is a great way to help the community and get involved with the environment. Donations also provide a unique opportunity to advertise your business.
