Jersey Shore Pops Announces 8th Summer Concert Series; Tickets Now on Sale

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Linda Gentille & The Jersey Shore Pops will present their 2017 Summer Concert Series at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center starting July 22. The price of a 2017 Season Pass is presently $200 which includes all four evening shows – three Saturdays and one Friday.

The 2017 Summer Concert Series is highly anticipated by both Pops performers and patrons. James Barr, Pops treasurer and board member, declares, “We at the Jersey Shore Pops are excited to announce our 2017 summer season which will continue our tradition of serving the South Jersey community by providing a diverse repertoire of popular and classical pieces performed by the finest local musicians. Our music director Linda Gentille has worked tirelessly to assemble a series of outstanding programs anchored by great headliners like Travis Turpin, Lovena Fox and Johnny Petillo.”

The Jersey Shore Pops 2017 Summer Concert Series will include four concerts at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center:

Saturday, July 22 at 7 p.m.: “Iconic Voices” with Travis Turpin
Saturday, July 29 at 7 p.m.: “Great Balls of Fire” with Music Director & Pianist Linda Gentille
Saturday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m.: “Divas of Soul” with Lovena Fox
Friday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.: “Wildwood Days” with Johnny Petillo

The series kicks off on Saturday, July 22 at 7 p.m. with Travis Turpin and his “Iconic Voices.” A versatile entertainer, Travis thrills audiences playing guitar and piano, singing and performing impressions. His vocal talents encompass multiple musical genres, including Broadway, Pop, Rock and Country. Even more amazing, his impressions include show business legends like Sammy Davis Jr., Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, the incomparable Elvis, Neil Diamond, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash. Travis is truly many stars in one.
