East Lynne Theater Company Helps the Food Closet
The Equity professional, award-winning East Lynne Theater Company is accepting items for the Food Closet during the run of its holiday show, “The Great Tree and Other Tales by Zona Gale.” What is needed most are cereal, soup, bar soap, tuna, peanut butter and dry spaghetti. Be sure that the expiration date for food has not expired. Bring these items to ELTC’s performances: Sunday, Dec. 8, Thursday, Dec. 12, Friday, Dec. 13 all at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 14 at either the 2 p.m. or 8 p.m. performance. Location is the First Presbyterian Church, 500 Hughes St., Cape May. For monetary donations, makes checks payable to The Community Food Closet of Cape May.

Boy Scout Troop 73 Collecting Paper Towels & Toilet Paper West Cape May Parade
WCM Boy Scout Troop 73 is collecting toilet paper and paper towels along the WCM Christmas Parade route to donate to the Cape May Community Food Closet. Please bring packages of toilet paper & paper towels to the parade, to give to the Scouts as they pass by & support this worthy cause. The parade is Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning in West Cape May and ending in Cape May, NJ. The parade begins at 5 p.m.
