Free “Bike and Hike Thursdays” Come to the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge

When: Thursdays in July and August from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  

Where: Visitor Information Center, 12001 Pacific Ave, Wildwood Crest 

Bike from the Wildwoods to wildlife with this free “bike and hike” event! Ride your bike to the Two-Mile Beach Unit at the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge (NWR). Enter Cape May NWR from the Wildswoods Bike Path; register at the visitor information center. Hike the Refuge nature trails and find fun facts along the way! 

Receive a free sportpack with items for your return ride upon completion. Families are welcome! One sportback will be provided per family or group with extra goodies for your pack.  

Cape May National Wildlife Refuge is a hidden gem in Cape May County located at Two Mile Beach Unit, 12001 Pacific Avenue in Wildwood Crest. The grounds are open for walking, bike riding and viewing nature. The Visitor Center is open from Thursday to Monday, 9 am – 3 pm.  

The Center has nature-related information, a touch table and gift items available along with our family friendly nature walks.
