Flip Flopz Beach Bar & Grill has been a must-try North Wildwood dining tradition since its 2007 grand opening. This season, Flip Flopz has decided to channel the same great Caribbean-American taste for which they’re famous for a brand-new menu of soups, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees.
Under the direction of its new head chef, all Flip Flopz cuisine is homemade fresh on the premises. Start with a taste of the “Crabby” Macaroni & Cheese appetizer, featuring freshly caught crab meat and served with crispy garlic toast. Rather sample some “south of the border” inspired flavor? Their signature Crab & Shrimp Guacamole Dip combines the best of local fresh catch and authentic Mexican guacamole for a zesty starter dish.
A major highlight of the remastered Flip Flopz sandwich menu includes the never-frozen, made to order cheesesteaks prepared with fresh sliced ribeye or chicken breast. An innovative twist on an American classic, the Hot Roast Beef French Dip sandwich is also a fan favorite and features carved beef and provolone served with sides of Au Jus and a creamy horseradish sauce. Their selection of freshly prepared burgers is also worth checking out, as each is made to order and served with crispy Flip Flopz fries.
In season, Flip Flopz offers a full breakfast menu Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. Lunch begins at 11 a.m. while dinner is served from 4:30 pm daily. Chef specials are offered daily for lunch and dinner, and the late night menu is offered until at least 12 midnight. The Flip Flopz menu appeals to every sort of appetite and is family friendly, offering a kids’ menu with their favorites.
Experience Fabulous Friday Happy Hour from 3 to 7 pm featuring drink specials. The Flip Flopz bar area also features favorite finger foods and apps for only $5 on Friday evenings. Bar patrons choose from the twenty eight varieties of cold beer and an extensive menu of exclusive Caribbean cocktails. Every seat is a prime spot for sporting events, with views of the 17’ High Definition flat panel TVs scattered throughout the grill.
Cape May County crowds flock to Flip Flopz on weekend nights as it has quickly become the hottest place for dancing with state of the art entertainment and the area’s most renowned DJ’s. Celebrate Independence Day in a big way this Friday, July 4, at the Flip Flopz Tiki Topz Pool Party kicking off at 2 p.m. and featuring DJ entertainment. On Saturday, local sensation Don’t Call Me Francis takes the stage downstairs at 9 p.m. The party continues on Sunday evening with The Chatter Band, this edition’s spotlighted band, as they take the stage from 7-11 p.m. North Wildwood’s own tropical paradise, Flip Flopz Beach Bar & Grill, (where the only thing you can get frozen is a margarita!) does not disappoint.
