Avalon Dune & Beach Walk 

48th Street Beach Entrance, 48th St & Dune Dr, Avalon 

Wednesday, June 28 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. 

Everyone likes to visit the beach, but what do you know about the plants and animals that live there? Meet at 48th Street and Dune Drive in Avalon for an interpretive walk with a naturalist along the maritime forest and dune trails to learn about the flora and fauna that call this area their home. Presented by the Wetlands Institute and proudly sponsored by the Avalon Free Public Library. 

North Wildwood Beach Patrol Family Fun Day 

Friday, June 30 at 10 a.m. 

North Wildwood Inlet beach 

Families, along with the North Wildwood Beach Patrol, come together and enjoy a day at the beach with adaptive beach and water activities for children with special needs. 

Avalon Skee-Ball Competition 

Friday, June 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

2805 Boardwalk (Greyhound Poker Palace) 

Join us for an afternoon of skee-ball as the Avalon Historical Society brings “the competition” back to this beloved arcade game on the Avalon Boardwalk. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society. 

Friday Nights at Surfside Park – Patriot Summer Kickoff

Wildwoods Convention Center 

The Sports Cards, Toys, Comics & Collectibles Show will feature collectibles, memorabilia and guest star appearances. Over 150 tables of the hottest collectibles on the planet! Friday will take place fro 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to5 p.m. Free admission! 

Avalon’s 12th Annual Clamshell Pitch 

Saturday, July 1 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.  

30th Street Beach, E 30th St, Avalon 

Try your hand at this fun, horseshoe-like sport, historically played on Avalon’s beaches! No experience is necessary. Tournaments for singles and doubles. Register and practice beginning at 8:30 am at 30th Street Beach. The tournament starts at 9:00 a.m.

The parade is an annual event to honor our veterans and feature string bands along with many other performing groups, family entries, classic automobiles, veteran organizations, and local officials.
