The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel Film and Zoom Q&A

Screening of the award-winning documentary, “The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel” followed by a Zoom Q&A session with the film’s director. The film is about the extraordinary odyssey of a German amateur violinist who becomes a reluctant soldier in Hitler’s army and defies overwhelming odds to not only survive World War II, but to become a U.S. Government agent. 

Special Olympics Polar Plunge

Coastal Birding at Stone Harbor Point 

Saturday, Jan. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m.  

Join Chris Marks and CMBO Naturalists, as theyexplore some of the iconic barrier islands in Cape May County. These long and narrow land strips are teeming with a variety of birds. For this trip, we’ll spend the majority of our time on Seven Mile Island, home to the boroughs of Stone Harbor and Avalon as well as amazing ocean views, dunes, and marshes.
