Spring Concert: A Century of Folk  

Thursday, April 27 at 7 p.m. 

Ocean City Public Library, Room N110s 

John Arthur will perform a song for each decade between 1920 and 2020, providing context and history for each selection as well, in this event that is one-part history discussion and one-part musical performance. Works will include Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, and other classics. 

Poetry in the Park

Avalon Arbor Day Celebration

71st Street & Dune Drive, Avalon 

Celebrate Arbor Day with the Avalon Garden Club at its annual tree-planting ceremony. This year’s tree will be a white oak planted on the island at 71st Street & Dune Drive. A representative from the Avalon Environmental Commission will be the guest speaker. In the case of inclement weather, the event will move inside to the 39th Street Tennis Building. 

Sea Isle Arbor Day Ceremony 

Friday, April 28 at 12 p.m. 

70th Street and Landis Avenue – Public Garden  

Come attend a very special Arbor Day Celebration in the public garden near 70th Street and Landis Avenue, where a White Oak Tree seeding will be dedicated to memory of long-time community volunteer Theresa Barry and to all of the people of Sea Isle City. 

Wildwood Crest Wellness Walk 

Saturday, April 29 at 8:15 a.m. 

Wildwood Crest Recreation Pier 

Join Wildwood Crest Mayor Don Cabrera and other borough officials for an informal approximately 45-minute walk along the Wildwood Crest Bike Path and surrounding areas. Participants should gather at the Crest Pier Recreation Center by 8:15 am. Free event, no advance registration necessary. First 75 registrants to receive a free gift.
