Easter Events in Cape May County

NOTE: Saturday, April 1 has strong forecasts of storms. Many events are postponed until Sunday.

There are a whole lot of Easter events taking place in Cape May County. No matter what town you live in, there’s probably an egg hunt right nearby. From Cape May to Wildwood to Dennis Township, find something fun to do this Easter. Adults, be sure to check out the Easter “Kegg” hunt at the Cold Spring Village. This list doesn’t include paid-for events at restaurants, pubs, etc.

Ages 1-4 will meet on the 8th Street Playground, ages 5-6 on the 10th Street Field, and ages 7-10 on the 12th Street Field. Also, enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunner! No Rain Date. Canceled in the Event of Inclement Weather. 

Cape May  

Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt 

Saturday, April 8 at 10 a.m. 

Beach behind Cape May Convention Hall 

Children will hunt for hidden Easter eggs containing Easter treats. Special prizes for each age group that finds the Golden Egg. Age groups are Toddler to age 10. No Rain Date.   

Cape May Easter Fashion Stroll 

Sunday, April 9 at 1 p.m. 

Rotary Park

Registration for the Easter Fashion Stroll will begin at noon, and the stroll will begin at 1 p.m. Judging categories and age groups are: 3 and younger, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, 13 and older, best-dressed lady, man, couple, family as well as best Easter bonnet for youth and adult. Prizes will be awarded to winning participants. 

Ocean City

Saturday, April 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

6th to 14th street along the boardwalk 

Stop by participating stores to find easter eggs until supplies lasts. Rain date: April 2nd.

Ocean City Music Pier 

Come dressed in your Easter’s best for our Fashion Stroll and meet the Easter Bunny. Judging begins at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Children, Teen, Adults and Family.

This event was moved to Easter weekend due to last week’s rain. Though the egg hunt was canceled, come out to participate in an Easter scavenger hunt, face painting, a “hop”stacle course, and an appearance from the Easter Bunny on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The other activities are available all weekend.  

Middle Township Easter Scramble 

Saturday, April 1 at 1 p.m.  

Ockie Wisting Recreation Complex

Rain or shine! The Easter bunny will make a special appearance at this egg hunt. Please bring your own basket. There will be four categories of egg hunters: 3 years old and younger, 4 to 6 years old, 7 to 10 years old, and those with disabilities. Serene’s Food Truck will be present.   

Upper Township Easter Egg Hunt 

Saturday, April 1 at 10 a.m.

Come on out for the Township’s annual egg hunt! The rain date is April 2. All Ages are welcome to participate. There will be a special appearance by the Easter bunny. The hunt itself starts at 10:30 but be sure to get there early.  

Dennis Township Egg Hunt 

Wednesday, April 5 at 6 p.m. – arrive between 5:30 and 5:45

It’s getting close to that time of year again! Get those baskets ready for collecting! Bring your baskets and come out to win prizes, get chocolate bunnies, and to take pictures with the easter bunny.  

Lighthouse Church “EGGstravaganza”

Cold Spring Brewery  

Start at the Brewery and ask a tasting room server for your answer sheet. Follow the directions to explore Historic Cold Spring Village for eggs. When you find an egg answer the question to move to your next clue. At the end, put your answers inside the Easter Kegg. One lucky winner will get a free Cold Spring Brewery growler! 

Woodland Village Egg Hunt

Woodland Village 

Join the Woodland Village for its annual Easter Egg Hunt! Please have your child bring their own baskets. We ask that everyone arrive on time! The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures after the hunt is over.
