Drink of the Week: Parade Punch

For the holiday season, Mad Batter gives us a unique way to celebrate with this week’s drink of the week, Parade Punch. When you think of Christmas, you don’t always think of pineapple juice, but that’s one of many ingredients in Parade Punch. The cocktail is also made with brandy, light and dark rum, lemon juice, aperol, house-made grenadine, club soda, bitters and the garnishes that make it festive, nutmeg and a brandied cherry. To our surprise, the nutmeg flavor was strong, and a hint of pineapple flavor made this interesting drink irresistible.

You can taste this original creation for yourself at Mad Batter’s Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m. every day. Add to the fun with buy one, get one free entrees Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. Mad Batter is open seven days a week until the New Year for breakfast, lunch and dinner with live music every night. If cocktails aren’t your thing, there are 12 beers on tap!
