Say hello to the bartender of the week, Jennifer Dougherty at the Anglesea Pub!
Jennifer is a Cape May Courthouse native but moved to Key West 20 years ago, where she continues to live today. Jennifer is back in her hometown for the summer to spend time with family and friends and will be working at the Anglesea Pub!
Jennifer’s favorite part about bartending is bonding with the people. She has made lifelong friends with some of the customers she interacts with, even going to their weddings and baby showers.
She enjoys the Jersey shore in the summer because it has cooler weather than Key West but shares a similar fun summer vibe.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys yoga, scuba diving, running, watching her son sail, and spending time near the beach and water.
Jennifer’s favorite items at the Anglesea are the root beer float and the grilled reuben sandwich. She says the bread up North makes for great sandwiches and the reuben is delicious!
This week’s drink of the week is the Angleasea’s mojito! The mojito is made with six lime slices, fresh sprigs of mint, simple syrup, and ice shaken up real well mixed with rum and topped off with club soda. The Anglesea’s mojito is perfect after a day at the beach or to kick off a night out! You don’t wanna miss the drink of the week at the Anglesea Pub!
