10th Annual “Pilgrim Paddle”
Thursday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m.
Upper Township Municipal Beach, Beesley’s Point
The 10th annual “Pilgrim Paddle” is a 3.5-mile row for Van Duyne surfboats, Crew Shells and Stand Up Paddleboards. It will start from the Upper Township municipal beach in Beesley’s Point, rowing around Drag Island by the Garden State Parkway, and then returning to the start. It is open to anyone who would like to compete. In addition to the paddleboards, it is anticipated that beach patrols and alumni boats from Wildwood, Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Sea Isle City, Upper Township and Long Beach Island will be in the event. 2017 Winter WonderFEST (Lewes Terminal)

The Ferry offers shuttles to the Spectacular Light Show in Cape Henlopen State Park! The Christmas Village returns to the Lewes Terminal this holiday season and it’s bigger and brighter! Packed with indoor & outdoor fun for the whole family, the Christmas Village includes the Visit Delaware Ice Rink, five amusement rides, Santa’s Workshop, games, pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, nightly entertainment and new this year, the Lodge, a heated tent serving bites & beverages. The festival runs through Dec. 31, Friday through Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. (until 10 p.m. on Saturdays), with additional dates the week after Christmas. No parking or entrance fees at the Village!
