Music lovers are invited to enjoy the final week of the 29th Annual Cape May Music Festival. On June 13 at the Carriage House Café & Tearoom will be Bach’s Lunch, a mini-concert by members of the Bay Atlantic Symphony that accompany a delicious Tea Luncheon. On Thursday, June 14 at Episcopal Church of the Advent will be the New York Chamber Ensemble. On Friday, June 15 the Friends of the Cape May Music Festival present an encore performance by members of the New York Chamber Ensemble in “Musical Desserts,” capping off this year’s festival. Miss New Jersey Pageant

The Miss New Jersey Pageant includes a Boardwalk Parade at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, and preliminary competitions at the Music Pier on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. The finals will be on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., also at the Music Pier. Jeep Beach Invasion

Over 2,100 Jeeps of all makes and models will be showcased throughout the weekend along with fun activities for the entire family. The weekend includes Jeeps on display, vendors, live music, a “Show & Shine,” raffle prizes, a beach obstacle course and more. Evening activities will be hosted by Morey’s Piers at Mariner’s Pier with food, music and a beach bonfire! Participants are encouraged to decorate their Jeeps; the best-decorated Jeep will be awarded a prize. FREE for the public to attend. Proceeds go to the Community Food Bank of South Jersey. 40th Annual Cape May Point 5 Mile Run

Join us for the 40th Annual Cape May Point 5 Mile Run, benefitting the Cape May Point Vol. Fire Co. The 2 Mile Run starts at 8:15 a.m. and the 5 Mile Run is at 9 a.m. Registration is at the Cape May Point Fire Station. Early registration can be done by mail or in person on Friday night, June 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration on race day starts at 7:30 a.m. The entry fee is $25 by mail and on Friday night. Race day registration fee is $30. Each entrant will be given a complimentary T-shirt and there will be beverage and refreshments after the run. Sea Isle City’s Skimmer Festival Weekend

Skimmer Festival is Sea Isle’s largest summer festival, featuring two days of family-friendly activities and entertainment. The festival includes a Seaside Vendor Craft Market, the popular Skimmer Food Court, live music, a variety of free family activities, an Antique Auto Show, free Guided Historical Trolley Tours, an awards ceremony and a parade. In case of rain, most activities will be cancelled. The Seaside Craft Market and Food Court are rain or shine; however, some vendors may choose not to participate. Military Timeline

Interested in the Civil War or World War II? Want to learn about the weaponry and tactics used by the British infantry in the Victorian Era? Or maybe you are just a history buff who loves it all. Historic Cold Spring Village will host its annual Military Timeline Weekend June 16-17 featuring encampments, weaponry displays and demonstrations from living history groups depicting various conflicts throughout the centuries. National Marbles Tournament

This is the official 94th anniversary national competition in the sport of marbles for boys and girls ages 8-14 that have qualified by winning local tournaments throughout the United States. John Walter Cape Community Band Concert

Enjoy a free indoor evening concert in Ocean City with the John Walter concert band at the Ocean City Senior Center, hosted by the Ocean City Free Public Library.
