Being at the beach is all about having fun, so why not bring your laughs to the Cape May Comedy Festival on July 26th at the Cape May Convention Hall? Come and join in this town-wide event with stand-up and recognizable headliner comedians.

In Cape May County, the music never stops. Check out Stone Harbor’s Summer Concert Series featuring Heart to Heart. The concert begins at 7:30 pm on July 25th at the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Keep the beat alive in Sea Isle City at their Free Concert under the Stars featuring Stayin’ Alive (a Bee Gees tribute band). The concert is at Excursion Park and begins July 27th at 8 pm.

A lot of laughing can be a workout for your stomach, but if you are not too tired you should participate in the 15th Annual Cape May County Bar Foundation Race Judicata 5k Run/1K Fun Walk. The 5K Run/1K Fun Walk will be honoring the memories of Jeffrey Israelow, Esquire and Robert Fleming, Esquire. All proceeds benefit the Cape May County Bar Foundation College Scholarship Fund for Cape May County high school students. The event will be on July 26th at 6:30 pm on the beach in Sea Isle City. Admission is $25 for all walkers/runners. Rain date: Saturday, July 27th. Register online at www.cmcba.org.

Come out for the Jersey Shore Artisans Guild Craft Show on July 27th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Carey Stadium and Civic Center just off the Boardwalk at 6th Street. Enjoy the varied crafters, artists, photographers, and gourmet food specialists. There is an admission fee, but it benefits the OC Food Cupboard, Gilda’s Club South Jersey, and the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. For more information, call 609- 399- 9998.

On July 29th, catch the Concert Series featuring Leon Russel. The show will begin at 7:30 pm at the Ocean City Music Pier. Or if you are in Stone Harbor, you can catch some tunes at the Lawn Summer Concert Series featuring Bob Campanell. The show begins at 7:30 pm at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

What can be cuter than dozens of waddling toddlers? Come out to The Wildwoods Waddle on July 30th beginning at 10am. Bring your kids to the fun event for infants and toddlers to show off their speedy crawling or waddling techniques. The event will take place on the grassy circle in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Toddlers are encouraged to participate in the next day’s official baby parade!

If you are interested in theater you can check out the Stockton Children’s Theatre presentation of “Rapunzel”. The performance begins July 31st at 10:30am. The tickets are $10 and the show is appropriate for all ages so feel free to bring the whole family!

Enjoy classy music? Come to the Chalfonte Hotel Summer Concert located in Cape May on July 31st at 8:00pm. Festive Brass is a quintet of highly accomplished musicians from the Philadelphia area. Their versatile repertoire spans five centuries and includes music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods to ragtime, Dixieland and show tunes of the 20th Century. The admission is free and it will be a great night for all ages!

Why not enjoy the best of both worlds with a movie on the beach? Stop by exit zero on August 1st for the Movie Night on the beach next to the Cape May Convention Hall to watch “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. The showing is free of charge. Bring a blanket and enjoy the movie!
