Join in the festivities at the National Lighthouse Day Celebration at the Cape May Lighthouse on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make your own pirate hat, listen to songs of the sea, meet the Lighthouse Keepers, shop for nautical merchandise, and more. Programs run on the grounds of the Cape May Lighthouse, located at Cape May Point State Park. National Lighthouse Day activities are open to the public and admission to the grounds is free. Climb the 199 steps to the Watch Gallery for a panoramic view of the Cape! Adult admission to climb is $10. Children climb free on National Lighthouse Day.
