Historic District Trolley Tour: Get acquainted with Cape May on a trolley tour as knowledgeable guides present entertaining and educational stories about the nation’s oldest seashore resort (tours begin and end at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, Washington Street Mall at Ocean Street). Offered Friday, Jan. 5 through Monday, Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. $12 for adults and $8 for children (ages 3-12). Winter trolley tours are co-sponsored by the Carroll Villa Hotel, Congress Hall Hotel, the Grand Hotel and the Queen Victoria Bed and Breakfast Inn.

Center for Community Arts (CCA) Exhibit in the Carroll Gallery “Franklin Street School: From Segregation to Unification”: On the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. Free admission. Lunch & Learn “Music of Olde Cape May”: Bring a bag lunch and hear talks on popular topics of history, culture and the arts during weekly Lunch & Learn presentations every Wednesday at noon at the Cape May United Methodist Church, 635 Washington St., Cape May. Jan. 17 –Music of Olde Cape May with Rich Chiemingo. Admission is free for MAC members and $5 for non-members and includes beverages.

Lunch & Learn at Lucky Bones “America, God’s Chosen Nation”: New in 2018! Hear talks on popular topics of history, culture and the arts over lunch at Lucky Bones Restaurant. The topic for Saturday, Jan. 20 at noon is “America, God’s Chosen Nation,” presented by Dr. Bob Heinly. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Lucky Bones Restaurant, 1200 Route 109, Cape May. Admission is $10 and includes lecture. Lunch may be purchased separately. Limited event.

Friends of the Physick Estate present Victorian Valentines Workshop: Learn about Victorian Valentines traditions and then create your own Valentines greeting cards to send to friends and family. All supplies and light refreshments included. Friday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. Cape May United Methodist Church Hall, 635 Washington St. Admission is $10.

Friends of the World War II Tower present “50 Years Later: 1968 and the Vietnam War – Introduction”: The year 1968 was pivotal in both Vietnamese and United States history. Learn about these changes in the introductory lecture to this series. Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave. Admission is $5 at the door. Free for all World War II veterans, MAC members and students.
