CAPE MAY – Two family friendly events will be held in Cape May during Easter Weekend. The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at the Cape May Elementary Fields located at 921 Lafayette St., Cape May. Children, placed in two categories – toddler and kindergarten, and first and second grade – will hunt for hidden Easter eggs containing Easter treats. All children will have a chance to win a special prize by finding a golden egg.
The City of Cape May, the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May and the Small Businesses of the Washington Street Mall will be sponsoring the Annual Easter Fashion Stroll. The Easter Fashion Stroll will take place on Sunday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at the 300 block of the Washington Street Mall. Registration will begin at noon, and the stroll will begin at 1 p.m. Judging categories and age groups are: 3 and younger, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, 13 and older, best dressed lady, man, couple, family and for the best Easter bonnet. Treats, gift certificates and ribbons will be awarded to winning participants.
The rain location for the Easter Fashion Stroll is Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish Hall located at 520 Lafayette St., Cape May.
