The Spirit Brands National Cheerleading Championship features two days of aerial and acrobatic feats on Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (times are subject to change). Admission will be charged at the door.

Wildwood’s Dancing with Local Celebrities  

Wildwoods Convention Center 

Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.  

This new event is based on the ABC popular TV Show ‘Dancing with The Stars’ and will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce has enlisted the help of local “celebrities” who are well-known professionals in and around the Wildwoods. These celebrities will be partnered with local dance schoolteachers and advanced students to learn a 90-second routine that will delight the crowd. The audience members will vote for their favorite “Celebrity Dancer.” 

North Wildwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade 

North on Atlantic Avenue to Olde NJ Avenue 

Saturday, Mar. 12 after ceremony (12 p.m.)  

A Catholic Mass service will take place at St. Ann Church of Notre Dame La Mer Parish at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will begin on the front steps of North Wildwood City Hall, 9th & Atlantic Avenue, in North Wildwood beginning at 12:00 p.m. A festive parade will begin at the conclusion of the ceremony and proceeds north on Atlantic Avenue to Olde NJ Avenue. Terri O’Connor, widow of slain Philadelphia Police Corporal James O’Connor and strong advocate for Law Enforcement, will be honored as the 2022 Grand Marshal of the North Wildwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  

Sea Isle St. Patrick’s Day Parade 

120 63rd Street, Sea Isle City 

Saturday, Mar. 12 at 3:30 p.m.  

Sea Isle City will host a St. Patrick’s Day parade alongside KIX to help celebrants get in the holiday spirit. A “best dressed” contest will take place at 2 p.m. while the main parade will start at 3:30 at 83rd Landis Ave and will travel to 63 Landis Ave.  

Stone Harbor Shiver Polar Plunge

Ocean City Comic Con  

April 2 and 3  

Music Pier  

The OC-Con Comic Book and Memorabilia Festival will be held April 2 and 3 at the Ocean City Music Pier. Now in its fifth year, the festival will help kick off Ocean City’s 2022 calendar of special events. 

OC-Con features meet-the-artist sessions, discussion panels, costume contests, and the display and sale of comic books and memorabilia. Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 3.

Cape May County Easter EGGstravaganza  

Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

Cape May County Park and Zoo 

Commissioner Marie Hayes invites the public to come to the Cape May County Park and Zoo for our EggstravaganZoo.  This annual free event will feature the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with the popular rabbit – so bring your camera. 

The annual event sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Commissioners includes educational displays, scavenger hunt, crafts and live animal encounters. The event will kick off with an Easter Egg Hunt in the park at 10:00 a.m.  The hunt is over in a flash so be sure to not miss it! 

Cape May County Earth Day Celebration 2022 

Friday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

Cape May County Park  

The Cape May County Park and Zoo is the perfect location for this day of fun and learning. Hands on educational exhibits, children’s amusements, live entertainment, a variety of environmental eco-shops, scavenger hunt; all which will guarantee a day of earth friendly fun. Large tents on the center field will showcase educational exhibits. The Bandstand nearby will feature the entertainment for the day. Crafters, wares, and a food court surround the field and complete the venue.
