Bartender of the Week: Crab House at Two Mile Landing

The first local mixologist we will honor this summer is from the Crab House at Two Mile Landing, known for its waterfront views, fresh local seafood and deliciously famous Crushes.

Nico Scarpato is now entering his third summer at the Crab House. Although he lives in Washington Township most of the year, he resides in North Cape May during the summer as he serves up cocktails at the Crab House. When he’s off the clock, he enjoys working out, training and hanging out at the beach. During the months he isn’t living by the beach, Nico works as a personal trainer, holding a degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology with a minor in coaching from Wesley College in Dover, Del.

Although Nico holds the Ultimate Crabby Mary in this photo (made for us, of course), naturally, Nico’s favorite drink at the Crab House is one of the signature Crushes – the Strawberry-Orange Crush. Made with SKYY strawberry vodka, triple sec, freshly-squeezed orange juice and lemon-lime soda, it’s the perfect drink to sip on while enjoying the sunshine at one of Crab House’s outdoor bars or dining areas.

“I love it here at the Crab House in the summertime,” says Nico. “The views are beautiful and it really feels like a vacation.”

Stop by the Crab House to visit Nico and his fellow mixologists seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. Crabby Hour is from 2 to 5 p.m. daily at the bars, featuring a $5 appetizer menu and $1 off all drinks. All day every day, get Coors Light drafts for $3 each, and for just $1 more, and get a 22 oz. Coors Light draft in a souvenir Crab House cup. On Tuesdays, enjoy Corona Light drafts for just $3.50 each all day long. On Wednesdays, visit the Crab House for Sam’s & Clams, which includes half a dozen clams on the half and a Sam Adams draft for $8.
