WILDWOOD – The Borough of Wildwood Crest will host its annual 5K Beach Race Aug. 3 at 8:45 a.m., rain or shine.
The race will be held on an out-and-back course near the water’s edge at low tide beginning and ending at the edge of the Wildwood Crest Beach Pier at Heather Road. The event also includes an untimed, one-mile fun run/walk.
Cost is $20 for the 5K run and $15 for the one-mile run/walk for those registered by July 26. For those registering after July 26, registration costs are $25 for the 5K and $20 for the one-mile run/walk. Long-sleeved T-shirts will be given to all participants who register on or before July 26.
Race-day registration will be held at the Crest Pier Recreation Center beginning at 7 a.m. Pre-registered runners can pick up their race packets at the Crest Pier Recreation Center on Aug. 2 from 6-8 p.m.
