1. NJ State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival
Friday, July 7 at 4 p.m., and Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9 at 10 a.m.

The Wildwoods will host the annual NJ State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival on 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues, and surrounding pubs in North Wildwood. Over 65 talented BBQ teams will be competing for the State title and a chance to move on to the National Championships. Experience the BEST in Barbeque & Blues at this exciting three-day festival. Live cooking demonstrations, incredible food and top regional and national blues acts on the Wildwoods FREE main stage. 2. Wildwood Crest Sand Sculpting Festival
Saturday, July 8 at 10 a.m.
Wildwoods Beach, Heather Road alongside Beach Pier, Wildwood Crest
Grab your buckets and shovels and head to the Wildwoods beach from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This 5th Annual festival will feature an amateur sand sculpting contest, amazing sand sculpture designs, live music and games right on the beach. Rain date is Sunday, July 9. Registration is FREE and begins at 9 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to multiple divisions. 3. Whaler Yeoman Weekend
Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9 at 10 a.m.
Historic Cold Spring Village, 720 Rt. 9, Cape May
Whaler Yeoman Weekend celebrates the Cape May County founding families’ livelihoods, which were tied to the land and the sea. Demonstrations and discussions regarding whaling to farming, to trades and crafts that support these early settlers, will be featured. 4. Wildwood Cornhole Tournament
Saturday, July 8 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, July 9 at 9 a.m.
Wildwoods Beach, between Wildwood & Oak avenues, Wildwood
The bags will fly on the Wildwoods beach during this double elimination Cornhole Tournament. Teams of two will compete in the popular tailgating beanbag toss game. Saturday’s event is $25 registration fee, with an 11 a.m. start time. All ages are eligible to register. Sunday hosts the main event with cash prizes. To participate, you must be 18 years and older. 5. Burke Annual Car, Truck & Cycle Show
Saturday, July 8 at 12 p.m.

From noon to 4 p.m., bring the whole family to this free event and admire classic, high performance, custom cars, trucks, motorcycles and more! The event will also feature a complimentary BBQ, vendors, Rita’s Water Ice, live entertainment by Thirsty Wilson, one of South Jersey’s most popular local bands, and fun for the whole family! If you are interested in displaying your car, truck or motorcycle, registration is only $10 and includes all event amenities as well as welcome gifts, awards and more. Pre-registration is mandatory.
