In what has become a beloved Stone Harbor tradition, the one-and-only Peter Max returns to Ocean Galleries over the Fourth of July weekend, with his newest artwork and a collection of his most-revered imagery spanning nearly five decades. “Peter Max Celebrates America the Beautiful” opens Friday, July 1 and runs through Monday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with all artwork available for acquisition. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Peter Max when he signs purchased artwork from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 2 and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 3. 2. Independence Day Celebration at Historic Cold Spring Village

Afternoon concerts, family activities and traditional fun. Patriotic programs both days, including The Story of Old Glory and live music. 3. Jersey Shore Pops: The Victory Belles

The National WWII Museum’s Victory Belles are an elegant and charming vocal trio who travel the globe delighting audiences with their spirited performances, which feature dazzling costumes, audience interaction and musical hits to include “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “God Bless America” and the “Service Medley,” all sung in rich, three-part harmony. The Victory Belles represent the patriotic fabric of World War II America in keeping the sentimental musical history of the ‘40s alive. The Victory Belles are proud to serve as ambassadors of the National WWII Museum and are honored to salute our nation’s veterans in song! 4. USCG Sunset Parade

Sunset Parades are colorful, inspiring military ceremonies featuring the Recruit Precision Drill Team, marching troops and cannon fire. They take place at sunset on the Training Center’s Parade Grounds, are open to the general public, and there is no admission charge. 5. Ocean City Pops Presents Celebrate America!
