This Kite Festival will feature four days of kite-centered fun and activities including a Media Day Kite Show, a Nite Kite Show, the 30th annual East Cost Stunt Kite Championships, the WIFK Auction, Ground Display judging, the World Indoor Kite Competition and more! 2. Unlocking of the Ocean Media Day Event

Beach next to Wildwoods Convention Center, Wildwood
It’s time to get your feet sandy! Come join us to officially start the summer season at 12 p.m. on the beach next to the Wildwoods Convention Center. A large, ornate key will be used to ‘unlock’ the ocean, along with guest speakers and kites in the air. This event is FREE to attend. For more information, call (609) 729-9000.
3. Jersey Shore Pops

Ocean City Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace & the Boardwalk, Ocean City
The Jersey Shore Pops will be performing Sinatra on May 28! A small number of tickets will be for sale at the City Hall Welcome Center by cash and check (payable to Jersey Shore Pops). 4. Boardwalk Craft Show
Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29 at 9 a.m.
The Boardwalk at Rio Grande Ave., Wildwood
This free craft show will be held at the Boardwalk at Rio Grande Ave., rain or shine. All handmade products will be featured. 5. Stone Harbor Turtle Trot 5k Race & Two-Mile Fun Walk
Sunday, May 29 at 8 a.m.
95th Street, Stone Harbor
“Come out of your shells” this weekend and join the fun of the 17th Annual Stone Harbor Turtle Trot 5K Race and Two-Mile Fun Walk! Inspired by Stone Harbor’s beautiful Diamondback Terrapins, we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to the Diamond Terrapin Program at The Wetlands Institute. Our race will begin at 8:00am and the 2-mile fun walk will begin at 8:05 a.m. Race day registration and pre-registered runner check-in begins at 6:45 a.m. at the Lifeguard Shack parking lot on 95th Street and the beach, with the 5k Race commencing at 8 a.m. and the Fun Walk beginning just five minutes later. Prizes will be awarded. The price is $25 for adult runners, $15 for adult walkers, and $12 for children aged 12 and under.
