Enjoy live music by Cellar Sessions, food trucks, face painter, bounce houses, vendors, and the featured outdoor movie, Top Gun: Maverick. The movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. Bring your own blanket or beach chair. Presented by Lower Township Department of Parks and Recreation – Sponsored by the Lower Cape Alliance and GCADA 

Ocean City Unlocking of the Ocean and “Business Persons” Plunge 

Friday, May 26 from 12 to 1 p.m.  

Moorlyn Terrace St. Beach 

Unlocking of the Ocean and Business Persons Plunge Participants dress in business suits, carry brief cases and march into the ocean to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance to welcome the new season. 

Wildwoods Unlocking the Ocean Ceremony  

Friday, May 26 at 12 p.m. 

Beach next to the Wildwoods Convention Center  

Come join us to officially start the summer season on the beach next to the Wildwoods Convention Center at noon. A large, ornate key will be used to ‘unlock’ the ocean, along with tourism and city officials, and guest speakers.  

Wildwoods International Kite Festival 

Thursday to Sunday, May 26 to 29  

Beach at Rio Grande Avenue 

The colorful festival returns! Swing by all weekend to see the kites. There will be a Friday Night Social via the local kite club, and a 9 p.m. Illuminated Night Kite Fly. Saturday includes the Silent and Loud Auctions. Saturday and Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, team flying, as well as family games. Monday features the World Indoor Kite Exhibition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. 

Stone Harbor Beach Opening Ceremony and Color Run 

Saturday, May 27 at 10 a.m.  

95th Street Beach, Stone Harbor 

Come to Stone Harbor for this annual tradition. The opening ceremony takes place on 95th Street beach – the Color Run begins at 10 am, with registration starting at 9 a.m. 

Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market – Opening Day  

Saturday, May 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Ave. 

Each week you will find over 60 vendors offering fresh farm goods including produce, plants, cut flowers & honey, all kinds of baked goods including gluten free items, specialty foods like pickles, jerky, guacamole & meals to go, wine, beer, craft spirits, sandwiches, drinks, soaps, candles, jewelry, personalized items, home goods, clothing, gifts, signs, dog treats & apparel, and so much more! 

Wildwood Boardwalk Craft Show 

Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28  

Boardwalk at Rio Grande Ave.  

Come to the annual Memorial Day Craft Show to see artisans, handmade craft items, boutique items, gifts, and more. On Saturday, the show is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, – On Sunday, it lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Wildwood Crest Summer Kick-Off Concert 

Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m. 

Centennial Park, E Fern Rd. 

The Crest kicks off a summer of free concerts with a first performance from “Coast 2 Coast,” a creative cover band with a flair for originality spanning genres that include pop, R&B, jazz, soul, alternative, funk, dance, hip-hop, and reggae. 

Stone Harbor Farmer’s Market – Opening Day  

Sunday, May 28 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

95th Street & 2nd Avenue, Stone Harbor 

The annual farmers market returns! Come to the water tower and see what local fresh fruits, foods, and specialties are available from vendors across Cape May County. This market has a bigger focus on food than other markets in the area, so come with an empty stomach.  

Stone Harbor Turtle Trot 5K & 2 Mile Fun Walk 

Sunday, May 28 at 8 a.m.  

96th Street, Stone Harbor
