CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – It’s almost time for the 2nd Annual Cape May County 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, hosted by the Cape May County Board of Agriculture and the 4-H Livestock Program! The 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, October 15-16, 22-23 and 29-30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lehner’s Farm & Nursery, 175 Rt. 47 S. (mile marker 9), Dias Creek.
Activities include 5-acre Scare-Free Maze, Hay Rides, Tiny Tykes Hay Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Decorating, Petting Zoo, Scarecrow Making and games. Jessi Anaya, Coordinator of the 4-H Corn Maze said, “We had such a great time last year and plan to make this year’s event even better.” Corn Maze admission is $5 each, and $20 for families of five or more; two years and under are free. On October 29-30, children 12 and under in costume receive free admission. There will be an additional small fee for some activities.
“We are back again for another year at Lehner’s Farm with new games and activities, but at the same low price,” added Anaya. New this year is pumpkin bowling, make-and-take scarecrows, ring toss, game tables for checkers and tic-tac-toe.
The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program will be holding a 4-H Open House on Saturday, October 29 at the 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. The public is invited to come and learn more about 4-H Youth Development Clubs in Cape May County.
Funds raised from the 2nd Annual Cape May County 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch benefit the 4-H Livestock educational programs and the Cape May County Board of Agriculture.
