Cape May Independence Day Parade

The Independence Day Parade is back on July 3, 2021 at Noon down Beach Dr. Decorated golf carts, bicycles, and baby carriages are encouraged to enter our “Best Decorated” Contest this year for a chance to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes! All community entries are welcome to participate in the parade. Anyone interested in participating should contact the Cape May Department of Civic Affairs at (609) 884-9565.

Lower Township 4th of July Festival & Fireworks

Lower Township’s annual Independence Day festival and fireworks returns to the bayfront on July 3.
The event, held along the township’s bay front in North Cape May, is an evening full of live music, family entertainment, delicious food, free children’s amusement rides and one of the largest fireworks displays in the area.
The festival begins at 5:00 p.m. along the bay front in North Cape May between Lincoln Boulevard and Emerson Avenue. Amusement rides are located on Washington Boulevard and Franklin Avenue. As the festival winds down around 8:45 p.m., grab your beach blankets and chairs and head down to the bay to watch the fireworks illuminate the Delaware Bay. Free Patriotic Ocean City Pops Concert

As part of a festive Fourth of July weekend, the Ocean City Pops will perform a free outdoor concert at 7:30 p.m. on July 3 at Carey Stadium. The legendary local orchestra will perform patriotic classics and audience favorites in honor of our nation’s birthday. Bring a beach chair or blanket to sit on the field, and there will be seating available in the bleachers. Carey Stadium is behind Ocean City High School between the beach blocks of Fifth Street and Sixth Street. Visit Ticketmaster to reserve your seats for the show. Independence Day Weekend Celebration at Historic Cold Spring Village
July 3 and 4, 2021 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Celebrate all things American at Historic Cold Spring Village’s annual Independence Day Celebration, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 3rd and 4th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. A variety of patriotic family activities, programs, and music will be taking place and the Village’s restored historic buildings will be open, featuring demonstrations of Early American trades and crafts. 4th of July Bike & Pooch Parade

Bike & LSV Participants check in from 8am until 8:45am at 9th & Atlantic Avenues, North Wildwood. Check in for Pooch Parade at Bill Henfey Park from 8am until 8:45am. Parade begins at 9 a.m. at 9th and Atlantic Avenues, joins Pooch Parade at 8th & Atlantic Avenues and proceeds north to 1st & Surf Avenues. No rain date. Prizes awarded for the best decorated bikes, strollers, scooters, golf carts etc. in red, white and blue theme. FREE. Call 609-522-2955 to register to participate in the parade.
