2018 Easter ‘Hoppenings’: Egg Hunts & Bunny Breakfasts in Cape May County

Hop on down to the Jersey Shore and celebrate Easter with us! From breakfast with the Easter Bunny to Easter egg hunts on the beach, the shore offers many ways for you and your family to have an “eggcellent” Easter!

Lower Township Park & Recreation’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 24 at 10 a.m.
Freeman Douglass Memorial Park, 677 Rt. 9, Erma
Local youngsters are invited to hunt for Easter eggs on the grounds of Freeman Douglass Memorial Park. The event is recommended for toddlers to fourth graders. Children are divided into age groups to hunt for eggs in their own area. Eggs are filled with goodies and golden tickets that can be redeemed for special prizes. Bring your own baskets or receive a bag to keep all the treasures in. Come enjoy inflatables a half hour before and after the Easter egg hunt, along with music. This free event will feature the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will have an opportunity to have their pictures taken with the popular rabbit, so bring your camera. The annual event includes educational displays, a scavenger hunt, crafts and live animal encounters. The event will kick off with an Easter egg hunt in the park from 10 to 10:10 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be busy packing lots of new and animal-themed eggs along with more eggs than EVER before. Stone Harbor Easter Egg Hunt

Upper Township Easter Egg Hunt

Middle Township Easter Egg Scramble

From 1 to 3 p.m., children ages 1-10 can search for hundreds of Easter eggs with special treasures, visit with the Easter Bunny and participate in a free spring craft. The Great Egg Hunt

The Great Egg Hunt will take place on multiple beaches in Ocean City depending on age. 4 and 5 year olds will be at 12th Street, 6 and 7 year olds will be at 13th Street, and special needs children will be at 14th Street. Sea Isle City’s Annual Easter Program

Sea Isle City’s Division of Recreation will host the resort’s annual Easter program for children (up to age 11). Dennis Township Easter Egg Hunt

The annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 10 and younger will be held at the recreation complex at 5:30 p.m. Each child will receive a chocolate rabbit and have the opportunity to hunt for prize eggs hidden throughout the grounds of the complex. Children will be divided into the following age groups: 3 years old and younger; 4 to 6 years old; and 7 to 10 years old. Come out to Cape May Terminal for the Ferry’s annual Breakfast with the Bunny! Tickets include a buffet breakfast, a meet & greet with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt on the green with separate age groups and a prize. There are two breakfast seatings, 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., but only one egg hunt between the meals at 10 a.m. Cost is $14 for children ages 3-12, $24 for adults and free for children 2 and under.
