Start off with the Jersey Cape Shell Show on August 16th at 9:30 am at the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor. The exhibit portion is a juried show where both fascinating scientific exhibits of shells from around the world are featured as well as breathtaking artistic creations. Morey’s Piers welcomes amusement ride enthusiasts from all over the world during Coastin’ by the Ocean – an exciting and informative annual social gathering designed for members of amusement park related clubs and their guests. The event will be on August 17th and August 18th. Amusement ride enthusiast clubs connect individuals who are passionate about thrill rides, as well as connoisseurs of technical information and the rich history of amusement parks. This two-day weekend offers exclusive ride times, a behind-the-scenes tour, and beach camping.
Cars, cars and more cars! Come out to the Classic Car Show on August 17th beginning at 11 am at the Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May. If you are a car enthusiast, then this will be a great day for you and your family to come and enjoy the vintage cars and trucks as they fill the village. After the car show, you can make your way to Sea Isle City to enjoy a Concert under the Stars featuring Hollywood Nights, a tribute to Bob Segar. The show will begin at 8 pm on August 17th at Excursion Park in Sea Isle. Bring your family and friends for a great night enjoying the fresh air.
Want to have a relaxing Sunday out? Come enjoy the Atlantic City Jazz Band at VFW 419 on Congress Street in Cape May. The concert will be on August 18th beginning at 2 pm. Tickets will be $20 at the door and everyone is welcome. Proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of Southern Jersey to help local needs. If you want more entertainment on that same day, come out to the United Way Rubber Ducky Regatta beginning at 6 pm. The event will be held at Raging Waters in Wildwood. Watch as yours and thousands of rubber ducks race around the lazy river at Raging Waters for great prizes to benefit the United Way.
Surfs up! Get your surfboards ready and join in on the contest in Sea Isle City. The Quiksilver Grom Test is a surfing contest for children 18 and under. The contest begins at 8:30 am on August 18th.

Bring your friends and family out to enjoy some live entertainment at the Lou Booth Amphitheatre, 2nd & Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood featuring Sounds of Society (Chicago tribute band).
