This week, we honor a cocktail that tastes eerily similar to one of America’s most beloved chocolate bar. The Snickers Martini is a Country Club Tavern original, envisioned and created by resident bartender Michele Keith. When crafting this dessert martini, Michele mixes peanut butter sauce, vanilla vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur, and a splash of Bailey’s. From there, she coats the rim of a CCT martini glass in chocolate sauce and then dips it in crushed peanuts for a nutty finish. She then expertly pours the sweet concoction into the garnished glass and the Snickers Martini is ready to be enjoyed.
As fellow bartender Kristin states, Michele is CCT’s “martini specialist”. A visit to this “down home”, neighborhood watering hole is not complete without a taste of this master’s martini creations.
