The start of the summer season is still a ways off, but it always feels a little closer when the Wildwoods’ outdoor concert dates are announced.
North Wildwood leads the way this year, with the release of its 2021 Concerts Under the Stars series via its Recreation & Tourism page on Facebook.
The popular series will return to the Lou Booth Amphitheater (2nd & Ocean) on most Thursdays and Saturdays, from early July through mid-September – that’s right, this year’s schedule will extend two weekends beyond Labor Day.
The 18-show series kicks off on Thursday, July 1 with the Trammps and concludes on Saturday, September 18 with the SensationalSoul Cruisers. The Labor Day Weekend show on Saturday, September 4 will feature the traditional performance by Beatlemania.
The schedule is loaded with yearly favorites and many of the area’s most requested summer acts, including two appearances by The Fabulous Greaseband (July 22 & August 26), Real Diamond (July 24), Jimmy & The Parrots (July 29), Chicago Tribute (August 14), and the Cameos (August 28).
All shows are FREE and begin at 8 pm. The schedule is always subject to change given weather conditions. For additional info, call 609-522-7722 or 1-800-882-7787.
