John Wesley United Methodist Church – Swainton announced that due to the COVID-19 crisis, the event titled, “Quilts that Guided Run-Away Slaves to Freedom,” originally scheduled for Saturday, May 16, has been postponed to Spring of 2021. We pray this will give everyone time to recover and return to normal life in our communities. This program is part of a series of events to celebrate the 180th anniversary of the Church which began in 1840. It has the longest history of African American churches in Cape May County.
