Celebrate Labor Day at Congress Hall’s Music Festival

The summer season is coming to an unofficial end, and America’s Oldest Seaside Resort will send it off with a family-friendly bash on the Grand Lawn. Congress Hall will host the third annual music festival on Sunday, Sept. 2 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Grab your spot on the Lawn and help us send off the summer of 2018 in style.

Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy a classic All-American Barbecue featuring tried-and-true summertime favorites like all-beef hotdogs, flame-grilled burgers, veggie pasta salad, fresh-baked cookies and more.

This year’s Music Festival kicks off as Mountain Towns takes the stage at 5 p.m. With a tight musical chemistry, the group explores the world of rock, bluegrass and more while adding their own improvisational flair. Next up is Major Thrice, a funk/rock/blues trio with a unique knack for creating fresh and danceable jams, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Finally, The John Byrne Band closes out the Festival at 8 p.m. Led by Dublin native John Byrne, the group’s poignant and alternatively edgy sound honors both Irish and American songwriting traditions and keeps everyone tapping along to music both familiar and original.

To purchase your tickets to the All-American Barbecue, visit the Concierge Desk at Congress Hall. Tickets can also be purchased at Congress Hall the day of the Music Festival. Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for children.
