CANCELED: The Wildwoods Host 4th Annual ‘Boots at the Beach’ Country Music Festival Sept. 14-16

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED due to an uncertain forecast and potential impacts of Hurricane Florence.

The 4th annual ‘Boots at the Beach’ Country Music Festival will return to the North Wildwood Entertainment District along Olde New Jersey Avenue Friday, Sept. 14 through Sunday, Sept. 16. The year’s event will be bigger than ever featuring three full days of country music, vendors, crafts, food and more. Admission to the festival is FREE with festivities taking place from noon until 10 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Olde New Jersey Avenue comes alive with sights and sounds of a country fair with vendors lining the street selling clothing, wares and all things country. Refreshments, food and live country music on two outdoor stages will take place all day long and into the night.

The following performances are scheduled to take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the Tito’s Stage: Friday’s featured country bands will be 40 North from 1-4 p.m., Sherwood Brothers from 4-7 p.m. and Payton Taylor from 7-10 p.m.; Saturday’s featured bands are Steel Creek from 1-4 p.m., Adam Yarger from 4-7 p.m. and Triple Rail Turn from 7-10 p.m.; and Sunday’s featured bands are the Chesapeake Drifters from 12-2 p.m. and Chaplin the Kid from 2-4 p.m.

The following performances are scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday on the Inspire Energy Stage: On Friday it’s the Scott Rock Band from 12-3 p.m., Lauren Davidson from 3-6 p.m., and Casey Coleman and Stephanie Fellabaum from 6-9 p.m.; and on Saturday it’s Erin Kelly from 12-3 p.m., Scott Rock Band from 3-6 p.m. and Chaplin the Kid from 6-9 p.m.
