Wildwood welcomes a new spring event in the newly completed Byrne Plaza this March. The Wild Chocolate and Wine Festival will come March 24 and 25 to Byrne Plaza in Wildwood.
The event will feature some New Jersey wines, great chocolate vendors, crafters, food and family fun. The creators of the Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival, which is in its 5th year, and favorite local event, the Anglesea Night Market, are bringing this festival to life.
Byrne Plaza is the newest and most centrally located special event site in the Wildwoods. Situated on action-packed Pacific Avenue, just two blocks from the center of the famous Wildwoods Boardwalk, Byrne Plaza offers 60,000 square feet of outdoor space suitable for a wide variety of events.
“We are super excited to partner with the Wildwood Business Improvement District,” said event organizer Denis Brown. “Downtown Wildwood has a lot to offer and Byrne Plaza is an exciting space for people to see.”
The Wild Chocolate and Wine Festival will allow patrons to taste wines and purchase bottles to take with them to use at a later time. Chocolate and food vendors will feature local vendors and other great options.
“This is just a taste of the new programing were bringing to Pacific Avenue as part of the ongoing improvements to the business district,” said John Donio, President of the Wildwood Businesses improvement District Management Corporation. “We’re working with event promoters to bring events that help not only bring traffic to the downtown district, but also offers positive business opportunities to the businesses that make up the Wildwoods.”
The Wild Chocolate and Wine Festival is free to enter. It’s both family and dog friendly. For more information, visit wildchocolateandwine.com.
