An RV show will be held inside the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring the best-selling recreational vehicles from New Jersey’s biggest RV dealers including Dylan’s RV Center, Driftwood RV Center, Whitehorse RV Center, Cross Roads Trailers and Scott Motor Coach RV Center. New for 2017, the Downtown Wildwood Fall Farmers Market will take place every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. until Oct. 28. 17th Annual Lighthouse Challenge
Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, Oct. 22 at 8 a.m.
Lower Township, North Wildwood, Stone Habror and Ocean City
The 17th annual Lighthouse Challenge will allow visitors to experience the state’s remarkable maritime history first-hand at 12 historic lighthouses, two life-saving stations and historical museums along the New Jersey shore. Cape May County locations include the Cape May Lighthouse (Lower Township), the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse and Delaware Bay Lights Virtual Tour (North Wildwood), Tatham Life Saving Station 35 (Stone Harbor) and U.S. Life Saving Station 30 (Ocean City). Participants will earn souvenirs at each site as they compete to visit every one. Proceeds from the Challenge will support the preservation of these treasured majestic beacons. Most of the museums and lighthouses are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is also a nighttime climb of the Cape May Lighthouse on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.lhchallengenj.org.
Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run

Pumpkin Run Registration at the Wildwoods Convention Center will begin at 8:30 a.m. Pre-registration is highly suggested. The race will begin at 10 a.m. and includes the following events: 5K Halloween Pumpkin Run, Kids Pumpkin 1 Mile Challenge (pre-K to 5th), FIRST Timers 5K Run Challenge, and 1 Mile “family” Pumpkin Walk. Proceeds benefit the Lunch with Lynch Foundation and the Education Foundation of Cape Trinity Catholic. Event is rain or shine! Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for ages 18 and under. 26th Annual Pumpkin Festival and Share the Harvest Food Drive

It’s the spookiest time of the year at the Village! Celebrate all things Halloween and autumn at the 26th Annual Pumpkin Festival. The Wildwood Food Truck Festival is back on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wildwood’s Fox Park. The festival will feature 20 food trucks of all different cuisines. As always, there will be no duplicate cuisines to keep the festival unique. This year, a newly added kid’s area will be present, featuring a bounce house, face painting, a balloon twister and multiple games. 3rd Annual 4-H Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

Join 4-H and the CMC Board of Agriculture for the third annual Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Lehner’s Farm & Nursery. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., you will find a family and wallet friendly day of fun with a five-acre scare-free corn maze, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, tiny tykes hay maze, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making, petting zoo, games and refreshments. Cost is $5 per person, or $20 for a family of five or more, and 2 years and under free. On Oct. 21, there will be a 4-H Open House on site for the public to explore the variety of 4-H clubs available in Cape May County.
Bonfire on the Beach

Bring a blanket and chair and enjoy a bonfire on the beach! The night begins at 6 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. at 17th Avenue Beach in North Wildwood with live entertainment. Sponsored by the Anglesea Irish Society and the Greater Wildwood Jaycees. Rain date is scheduled for Nov. 4.
