Fabulous ‘50s & Beyond Celebration

Wildwoods Convention Center and Fox Park
Friday night features a Nifty ‘50s Dance Party with The Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 plus tax per person. A free street fair will take place at Fox Park in Wildwood on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour and live entertainment. Saturday night features a star-studded concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center at 7 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) featuring Frankie Avalon, The Duprees, Danny & The Juniors and The Ladies of Shake, Rattle ‘n Roll. Tickets are $54 per person for stadium seating (including tax & facility fee) and $71.50 per person (including tax & facility fee) for floor seating, and can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com/event/02005299A09AC4C1 or (800) 745-3000, or at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce, 3306 Pacific Ave.
17th Annual Applefest
Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.

The Historical Preservation Society of Upper Township presents the 17th Annual Applefest. Enjoy bee keeping demonstrations, flintlock musket demonstrations, restored 1812 farm equipment, an antique tool display, live music, food, contests, children’s activities and more. Refreshments include cider-grilled hot dogs, bratwurst, sauerkraut, chips and fresh apple dumplings. An apple pie baking contest begins at 2 p.m. for children and adults. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 15.
3rd Annual 4-H Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m.
Lehner Farm & Nurseries, 175 S. Delsea Dr., Cape May Court House
Join 4-H and the CMC Board of Agriculture for the third annual Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Lehner’s Farm & Nursery. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., you will find a family and wallet friendly day of fun with a five-acre scare-free corn maze, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, tiny tykes hay maze, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making, petting zoo, games and refreshments. Cost is $5 per person, or $20 for a family of five or more, and 2 years and under free. On Oct. 14, there will be a 4-H Open House on site for the public to explore the variety of 4-H clubs available in Cape May County.
