Zoo Announces Free Fall Events

Fall is a great time to visit the Cape May County Park and Zoo. There are several exciting events taking place over the next few months. 

“The Park and Zoo staff have done a tremendous job of putting together a great events schedule for the whole family, and the best part is the events are free to the public, just like the Zoo and Parks. Fall is the perfect time to head to the Parks and Zoo and you will not want to miss out on what they have planned. I encourage everyone to join the staff at any or all of this fun events,” said Cape May County Commissioner Andrew Bulakowski, liaison to the Cape May County Park and Zoo. 

November 11 – Be on the lookout when the Pirates and Princesses take over the Zoo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors of all ages are invited to wear their best dress-up apparel to this exciting event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, entertainment, inflatable pirate ship and of course animals! Coronation ceremonies and Disney Trivia will be held by your favorite princesses along with lots of Pirate Fun!, 

November 25 – The start of the holiday season begins with Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration, which is planned from 2 to 6 p.m. Join the Holiday festivities with Santa’s village shopping, live music and carolers, ice sculpture carving, and lots of family-friendly free entertainment. 

The Cape May County Park & Zoo is open every day except Christmas currently from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Zoo Fall/winter hours begin Friday, November 3rd from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
