THE WILDWOODS — The Fourth Annual Wildwood Tattoo Convention and Show, presented by locally owned Rebel Image Tattoo, takes place Aug. 16 through Aug. 18 inside the Wildwoods Convention Center – an event perfect for tattoo enthusiasts, as well as those interested in the unique art form of tattooing and body art design.
The Tattoo Convention and Show will bring the body art community to the Wildwoods for a weekend full of events. The event will host major national tattoo artists, as well as activities including tattoo contests, live tattooing, a traveling tattoo museum, seminars, art exhibits and more. Featured artists include Amy Nicoletto formerly of LA Ink, Season 2 Ink Master Contestant & MMA Fighter Mark Matthews, artists from Shane O’Neill’s Infamous Tattoo Studio, and Klown from Lowrider Tattoo in California. Some artists will be featuring tebori tattooing, which is the original Japanese style of tattooing. A tattoo swim suit contest will take place on Sat. at 7 p.m. where the first place winner will get a photo spread in Rebel Ink Magazine.
Hours for the Tattoo Convention and Show are noon-11 p.m. on Fri. and Sat., and noon-6 p.m. on Sun.
Daily passes for the event’s activities are $20. Weekend passes are also available for $45 for all three days. Tickets will be available at the door.
