The Borough of Wildwood Crest and DelMoSports are excited to announce the launch of the Crest Best Run Fest, the first major Fall Running Festival in Southern New Jersey, on Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7.
Presented by INSPIRA Health Network and in partnership with the borough of Wildwood Crest and the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWITDA), the Crest Best Run Fest is a weekend filled with activities, including a kids’ race and a 5K on Saturday, and a 5 Mile and 10 Mile race on Sunday. Runners will enjoy breathtaking views of the award-winning beaches and ocean and many other popular locations throughout Wildwood Crest (named the #1 Summer Hot Spot in the country in 2017 by TripAdvisor), with a great beachfront finish at Centennial Park.
“Wildwood Crest is focusing on wellness initiatives and is happy to partner with DelMoSports. We are proud to host this new event and look forward to runners coming back year after year,” said Wildwood Crest Mayor Don Cabrera. “The course highlightts many of our recreational parks and photo spots we have to offer.
