As summer quickly approaches, and restrictions continue to be lifted, the Wildwoods have once again added new offerings for visitors to enjoy for the 2021 season!

Barefoot Country Music Fest (BCMF)
Organizers of the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music fest on the beach, in coordination with City of Wildwood government officials, will host the Barefoot Country Music Fest (BCMF) on the Wildwood Beach Friday, August 20 through Sunday, August 22. Headliners include Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zac Brown Band, Lee Brice and much more! A kick off concert is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, August 19, 2021. BCMF is brought to you by Southern Entertainment, the producers of the award-winning Carolina Country Music Fest (CCMF) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the largest outdoor country music fest on the East Coast. BCMF is expected to be the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music festival, occupying 27 acres of the Wildwoods beaches.

Matilda the Musical
Join the Be You Arts Academy’s Elite & Broadway bound students as they perform Matilda the Musical – a rebellious, gleefully witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination – at Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood. Performances take place on Saturday, May 1 at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.; and on Sunday, May 2 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (Rain dates are Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9). Matilda is a story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the revolting children who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson. Pour Into Summer Wine Festival
Get ready to “Sip, Savor and Celebrate” at the inaugural Pour Into Summer Wine Festival at Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood, on Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23 from noon – 5 p.m. daily. Come ‘wine down’ with six of New Jersey’s best wineries as they kick off the summer season in style. PigDog Beach Volleyball Classic
The PigDog Beach Volleyball Classic will take place Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20. Featured courts will be located at Morey’s PigDog Beach Bar, with additional courts on the Schellenger Avenue and Lincoln Avenue beaches. Teams of 2 will compete in various divisions based on age/skill level, while teams of 6 participate in a recreational division. Top level players compete for prize money and all lower divisions play for merchandise prizes. In addition, Sunday’s junior division winners will earn bids to AVP America Junior Nationals. Community Band By The Sea Performance

Curran’s Irish Bar opens its first location outside of Pennsylvania at 110 Olde New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood. Curran’s Irish Bar will take over the former home of The Establishment at 100, and will operate during the 2021 summer season. Expect to see some familiar live entertainment on the patio, too including Wildwoods staple performers and bands.
Nan & Pop’s Kitchen will open its doors at 401 E. Wildwood Avenue, Wildwood with a special opening ceremony on Thursday, May 13 at 2 p.m. The foundations of the business outline that family, faith, and the community are the most important pillars of the business. Papi’s Taco Shack is scheduled to open in the former Stewart’s Root Beer restaurant at 2901 Boardwalk, Wildwood for the 2021 summer season. The 50’s stylings of the former Stewart’s will be traded in for a surf shack theme, with a rustic, distressed look, vibrant accents and motifs echoing a “SoCal beach” vibe. Papi’s will make full use of the building’s layout, with plenty of open-air seating on both floors. The second level dining area received a new roof in 2018, and will undoubtedly remain a favorite spot to catch Friday Night Firework shows during the summer.
San Andres Grill, a new Latin Fusion restaurant, makes its home at 4801 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood at the site of the former Pacific Grill. San Andres Grill will feature a combination of different forms of cookery, blending Latin American and “traditional” American cuisines.

North Wildwood will allow dogs on the beach at any time that lifeguards are not on duty (lifeguard hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.).
