After years and years of experience and hundreds and hundreds of happy patrons, Westy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant of North Wildwood has achieved the status of great dining and entertainment in the perfect pub atmosphere. Westy’s is a descendant of West Tavern of Philadelphia, opened by former owner Art West’s father in 1943. Art brought his lifelong pub saavy to East Walnut Ave. in North Wildwood in 1996. Westy’s Pub has since undergone several expansions and improvements but maintains its reputation as a go-to North Wildwood hangout.
Now open for lunch, dinner, and late night, Westy’s specializes in all-American and traditional Irish cuisine. Check out Westy’s diverse lunch menu options including huge tavern sandwiches such as the Oyster Po Boy or the Westy, featuring char-grilled chicken breast topped with peppers and Colby Jack served on a ciabatta. The Boardwalk burger, topped with onion rings, bacon, and cheese sauce, is a shore-inspired classic that you will not regret. Looking to save? Be sure to ask your Westy’s server about the $5.99 lunch special of the day.
Westy’s Early Birds deals for just $10.99 have been a huge hit among deal-loving diners. Offered Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. , each Early Bird dinner includes soup or salad, a roll, and choice of a dessert. Westy’s Weekly Specials have also been the talk of the town this offseason. Swing by Tuesday or Thursday and eat like a king on Prime Rib Nights. Wednesdays feature Super-size Chicken Parm for just $11.99. On “Sunday Fun Day”, Westy’s serves up some Mexican zest with $1.50 tacos all day and night long.
In the heart of North Wildwood’s entertainment district, Westy’s Irish Pub does not disappoint. With one of the friendliest staffs in the Wildwoods and its ever-changing entertainment scene, Westy’s is the place after sunset. On Monday, celebrate Craft Beer Night at Westy’s. Thirsty Thursdays feature Reverse Happy Hour from 8-10 p.m., and StellarMojo takes the bar’s stage at 10. Westy’s weekend entertainment features Video Quizzo with DJ Richie Palko Friday night and DJ Mollo’s awesome playlist on Saturday night starting at 10. Westy’s Irish Pub offers a great cocktail, a delicious dish, and a fun night for all types of Jersey Shore patrons.
