We Want Your Pet Photos!

Every April, Do the Shore features pets sent to us by readers. If you want to be included in this year’s “pet parade” section, email a photo or two of your pet with a short description / pet biography to chall@cmcherald.com. When you submit your pet, you’ll be entered to win a $100 gift card for pet supplies. Space permitting, we will run photos and bios each week for all of April; we have a lot of fun seeing critters from all around Cape May County. Included here are some photos of my two cats, Bingus and Kaeya, as well as my two guinea pigs, Nana and Poppy.

Nana, on the left, was rescued from the terrible clutches of an 8-year-old guinea pig owner. Poppy, on the left, has no special story other than that she cost me $50. They both are pictured here as they enjoy living in Minecraft.

Bingus was rescued from Shreveport, Louisiana and now enjoys living in Cape May County. We think she likes living here; she hasn’t yet complained about the taxes.

Kaeya, pictured, is named after a one-eyed Genshin Impact character. He was rescued from Shreveport, Louisiana; his left eye was removed after an untreatable puncture wound.
