Video Drink of the Week: Mai Tai

Celebrate summer with a classic Tiki cocktail, Mai Tai from Bare Foot Bar & Restaurant!

Made with Pusser’s Rum, Cruzan Banana Rum, pineapple juice and orgeat syrup, and garnished with an orange slice and a cherry, this fruity combination screams “vacation” with every sip. It’s the perfect blend of summer flavors, yet isn’t too overly sweet. Enjoy the Mai Tai by the Bare Foot Bar’s pool with beach views and summer breezes, and you’ll never want to leave Cape May’s resort town!

Lucky for you, this drink is served in a color-changing glass so your bartender knows exactly when you’re ready for another. That’s right – the glass changes color! Believe it or not, this hot pink glass was originally white before the cool cocktail was added. Drink up and watch the magic happen right before your very eyes.

Come grab a Mai Tai at the Bare Foot Bar & Restaurant at the Marquis de Lafayette Hotel, situated on Beach Avenue in the middle of the sights and sounds of Cape May with public access from the street. If you’re in the mood for something different, stop by for Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m. daily and get $5 crushes, margaritas and wine, and $1 off craft beers. Plus, you can pair your drinks with some $5 bites such as plain or margarita flatbreads, zucchini sticks, or tortellini, tomato and mozzarella skewers. Additionally, the Bare Foot Bar features Modelo Mondays with $3 Modelos during Happy Hour, and $2 Tuesdays with $2 Miller Lites all day. Enjoy live entertainment Thursday through Sunday with bands, DJs and games like Name That Tune!
