Olympic gymnastics gold medalists Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson will be featured at a Gymnastics Expo on the Ocean City Music Pier on Sept. 16, 2017.
The Expo is open to all young gymnasts and will include a question-and-answer session, tips on skills and an array of vendors. Tickets are $35 and are on sale now. There are two sessions from which to choose: 9 a.m. to noon or 2 to 5 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before each session. Tickets for an exclusive meet-and-greet are also available and cost $30. Liukin is the 2008 Olympic individual all-around champion, and she has nine World Championship medals. She was the 2016 Night in Venice grand marshal in Ocean City. Johnson was the 2008 Olympic balance beam gold medalist and team, all-around and floor exercise silver medalist.
