Paranormal Pursuits: Spiritualism in the 1800s
Saturday-Sunday, August 9th to 10th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Experience the spiritual side of 19th century history! Including various mediums such as clairvoyancy, mysticism, phrenology, magic and much more.

39th Annual Boys and Girls Surf Fishing Tournament
Saturday, August 9th from 9 a.m. to noon
Where: At North End Beach adjacent to the Ocean City/Longport Bridge, Ocean City

Registration will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Longport bridge parking lot. Age groups include 8-10, 11-13, and 14-16. Participants will fish from 10 a.m. to noon. Parental supervision is required and participants must bring their own bait. Ongoing casting & fishing instruction will be provided during the tournament. 3rd Annual Craft Beer & Crab Festival
Saturday, August 9th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Emlen Physick Estate – 1048 Washington St, Cape May

Come to the beautiful grounds and experience why CBS-NY named this one of New Jersey’s Top Five Summer Festivals! This all-day festival features local craft beers to wash down favorite summer picnic foods such as steamed crabs, crab cakes, pulled pork, corn on the cob, potato salad and more. Third Annual Kids Carnival
Saturday, August 9th from 1 to 6 p.m.
Where: Lincoln Park, Woodbine

This free event will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. with free food, fun, games, gifts for all, and music by DJ Jazmann. Special guests will include Cape May County National Guard, Belleplain Emergency Squad, Chick-Fil-A mascot “The Cow”, Family Service Association, Puerto Rican Action Committee, New Jersey State Police, and other surprise guests.

Stone Harbor Centennial Festival of the Lights
Saturday, August 9th from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Yacht Club of Stone Harbor – 9001 Sunset Dr, Stone Harbor

The Festival of Lights returns! The Boat Parade begins at 7:30 at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor. All are invited to participate with decorated boats and decorated bayfront properties. For more information, call 609-368-1201.

Full Moon Walk
Saturday, August 9th from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Two Mile Beach Unit of Cape May NWR – 12001 Pacific Ave, Wildwood Crest

Join the Friends of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge volunteer guides and interpreters on Saturday evening, Aug. 9th at 7:30 pm at the Two Mile Beach Visitor Contact Station as they lead another in a series of free Full Moon Family Nature Walks! August is the month of the Full Sturgeon Moon. Some Native American tribes (Algonquin) knew that the sturgeon of the Great Lakes were most readily caught during this full moon. Other names for this moon are: Wheat Cut Moon, Moon When All Things Ripen, and Blueberry Moon.

This program is free and open to the public, and is suitable for adults and families with children. After the program, the public is invited to relax and visit the newly-opened Nature Store at Two Mile. Please meet at the Visitor Contact Station at the Two Mile Beach Unit of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge, 12001 Pacific Ave (Ocean Dr), Wildwood Crest, near the former Coast Guard Loran Station.
