Christmas is just around the corner and the Shore is offering tons of ways to celebrate. Here are some of those highlights to help you plan your weekend fun!

26th Anniversary Historic Dennisville Christmas House Tour
Saturday, December 20 from 5-9 PM
Where: Dennisville Post Office 24 Hall Avenue, Dennisville

The 26th Annual Historic Dennisville Christmas House Tour is our premier fund raising event. On the 3rd Saturday of December each year a minimum of 8 beautifully decorated 18th and 19th century historic homes, as well as several public buildings and 2 churches, are open to the public. Please think about starting your holiday season with a festive glimpse of history in Dennisville at Christmas time! Tickets are $10.

Cold Spring Presbyterian Church 200th Birthday Dinner and Time Capsule Event
Saturday, December 20 from 5-8 PM
Where: Cold Spring Presbyterian Church 780 Seashore Road, Cape May

One of the nation’s oldest churches will celebrate its 300th birthday on Sat. night, Dec. 20, with a free déjà vu dinner and the making of a time capsule that will be buried underneath the church until the year 2039.

Celebrity Christmas
Saturday, December 20 from 7-9 PM
Where: Convention Hall 714 Beach Avenue, Cape May

Celebrate The Magic of Christmas! Maura McKinney Mastro and Frank Mastro perform a spirited, heartwarming celebration of Christmas with comedy, singing and celebrity impressions. The free show is on December 20 at 7 PM. It is a G rated show for the entire family.

Woodbine Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 20 at 6 PM
Where: Bryant South on Washington, Woodbine

The parade will start at Bryant South on Washington and end at the Firehouse.

Brunch with Santa Claus
Sunday, December 21 from 11:30-1:30 PM
Where: VFW Post 1963 JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City

The members of VFW Post 1963 will host their annual “Brunch with Santa” for local children (age 10 and under) on Dec. 21, at 11:30 a.m. inside the VFW on JFK Boulevard (adjacent to the Sea Isle Bridge). This free event will include a buffet brunch, music, visits with Santa Claus and plenty of holiday cheer.

Holiday Organ Concert
Sunday, December 21 from 3-4:30 PM
Where: St. Barnabas by the Bay Church 13 W. Bates Avenue, Villas

John Gottschall will perform an organ concert program of French noels, advent and Christmas chorales by J.S. Bach, and classical Christmas music Sunday, Dec. 21 at 3 PM at St. Barnabas by the Bay Church, 13 W. Bates Ave., Villas. A freewill offering will be taken and refreshments will follow the performance. The concert is open to the public; for information call 609-889-0667.

Ferry Merry Christmas Party
Sunday, December 21 from 12-3 PM
Where: Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal 1200 Lincoln Boulevard, Cape May

Get ready to set sail for a party full of holiday cheer! Lower Township Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual “Ferry Merry Christmas” party from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21 at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal in North Cape May.

The party includes winter carnival games, art and crafts, balloon art and a chance for children to meet Santa Claus.

Free Decoy Carving Demonstration

Where: Two Mile Beach Unit of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge 12001 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood Crest

Join the Friends of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge at the Two Mile
Beach Unit in Wildwood Crest on Sunday, Dec. 21st, at 10am, for a fascinating and educational demonstration of Decoy Carving in the South Jersey Fashion.

The demonstration will be led by local master decoy carver, J.P. “Jamie” Hand. Mr. Hand will be accompanied by two of his young apprentices, Dave Billig and Cooper Rossner, who is a Biological Technician through the Pathways Program at our very own Cape May NWR.

Family/Christmas Candlelight Service

Where: North Wildwood Methodist Church 2nd and Central Avenue, North Wildwood
