Attract Birds to Your Backyard

Where: West Cape May Boro Hall 32 Broadway, West Cape May
The West Cape May Environmental Commission will host an informative, free evening featuring local naturalist and author, Pat Sutton. “Common Backyard Birds Attracted by a Backyard Habitat — Create it and they will come — with Emphasis on How We Can Help Winter Birds” will be offered. Free pizza will be served at 6:30 PM.
Art Workshop – Valentine Candy Dish
Saturday, January 24 from 11-1 PM
Where: Avalon Free Public Library 235 32nd Street, Avalon
Make a lidded Valentine Candy Dish with rose embellishments in this two-part class. Participants will make the dish during the first session on Saturday, January 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and and return to glaze the dish on Saturday, February 7 from 11 a.m. to Noon. Projects can be picked up early the following week. Registration is required by calling 609-967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk. Avalon property owners may register on January 24. All others may register on February 7.
Buckets Basketball Clinic

A 6 week basketball clinic for boys and girls in grades K to 2nd.
Pool Party for Grades 4-8

Where: Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool 8800 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood Crest
Come join us for a pool party! Grades 4-8 are welcome residents & nonresidents welcome! Swimming from 7-8:30 then pizza! Pickup is at 9pm.
Tom Werkheiser Performance

Where: St. Barnabas by the Bay Church 13 West Bates Avenue, Villas
Tom Werkheiser, guitarist and singer-songwriter, will perform in concert Sunday, Jan. 25, at 3 PM at St. Barnabas by the Bay Church, 13 W. Bates Ave., Villas. A freewill offering will be taken and refreshments will follow the performance. The concert is open to the public; for information call 609-889-0667.
